Cardboard Moving Boxes are Expensive

Cardboard Moving Boxes are Expensive, said Christopher Slater! “Would I recommend Monster Tote?  Absolutely!  This is hands down the easiest method of getting your stuff packed up and moved.  Monster Tote is easy, affordable, and convenient,” says Chris Slater who loved moving with Monster Tote!  Check out his video testimonial at https: //www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=135&v=9gvZFRd2Y60&feature=emb_logo.

When Chris began the moving process, he went shopping for cardboard moving boxes.  What he quickly realized was how expensive moving boxes are!  Take a look at the pictures below, and let’s do some simple math.  35 moving boxes from Lowe’s is $154.99, compared to 35 totes from Monster Tote is $109.  That is a savings of $46!!

Let’s make another comparison, 24 moving boxes from Wal-Mart is about $60.  While Monster Tote may seem more expensive at first glance, as 25 totes are $79, let’s consider some other aspects.  First, the boxes from Wal-Mart are “varying sizes” (as are the “assortments” from Lowe’s and Home Depot).  Monster Totes are all 24″x 17″x 12″, the size of a large box, which means, if you go to Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, or Home Depot, you will have to buy more moving boxes, since some of them will be small, meaning more money.

Chris also points out how different sized cardboard moving boxes, such as the ones from Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc are hard to stack.  He loved how Monster Totes are “uniform, strong, structured, and easy to stack.”  So not only is Monster Tote affordable, it makes moving easy!

Now let’s consider costs not usually factored into cardboard moving boxes.  First, while Wal-Mart and Home Depot’s prices do include “moving supplies,” what moving supplies are included and how much?  Probably very little, so add on more money for more moving supplies.  Monster Tote packages come with a label for each tote as well as a set of moving wheels; no tape, scissors, etc needed!  Second, the cost of gas to drive to the store and buy moving boxes and supplies.  Anyone who has moved will tell you, it’s not just one trip either, there are multiple trips to the store for more moving boxes and supplies.

Third, what is the cost of moving boxes after your move is complete?  You could store them, but couldn’t you make better use of your storage space?  You may know someone who needs them, though that might involve driving the moving boxes to them, which would again, be added cost in gas.  Or, you could recycle/dispose of them, but again, that costs money too.  Chris loved not having these added costs since Monster Tote provides free delivery and pick-up, saving him money and making his move easier and more convenient.

Don’t just take Chris’ word for it though.  The truth is, lots of people love Monster Tote!  Don’t believe us?  Check out our 5-star ratings on Google Reviews and Facebook.  Just click the following links:
